Utah Calligraphic Artists is a non-profit organization for calligraphers of all skill levels. Membership is open to all. Annual dues of $25.00 are payable in January. A student membership of $10.00 is available for those persons who are currently attending a high school, college or university. Monthly meetings are held the second or third Saturday of each month, except December, July and August when no meetings are held. Dues should be sent to UCA, P. O. Box 712619, Cottonwood, Utah 84171.
UTAH CALLIGRAPHIC ARTISTS (UCA) was founded in 1979, and since that time, has actively sought to promote and encourage lettering arts throughout the state.
We sponsor classes, workshops, demonstrations and exhibits. Monthly meetings are held from January
to June and from September to November. In these meetings, guild members review alphabets, learn techniques and other decorative skills to enhance their calligraphy.
At least once a year, a major workshop is held in which a world renowned calligrapher comes to share his or her expertise with guild members. The cost of these workshops is in addition to yearly dues of $25.00.
As a member of UCA, you can expand your knowledge and appreciation of calligraphy, improve technical skills and meet others who share your interest in the lettering arts. We encourage anyone who is interested in calligraphy to attend one of our meetings at no charge.
If you are interested in attending a UCA meeting please check the CALENDAR tab on this webpage for date, time and place. For additional information concerning monthly meetings or how to join our group, please email UCA Secretary, Liz Margetts at firstname.lastname@example.org
Remember, you can attend your first meeting for free.
